Although the smallest and least known of the gymnasiums to the general public, they field the most effective militia column and provide agents to the Directorate when specialized personnel are required for dangerous problems. They offer training for anyone who wishes to learn magic, an admittedly small number of people.
Goal: promote the study of magic and esoteric arts, train effective combatants, and serve the city.

Shallavar Militia (heroic)
Originally a force organized to defend the refugees from an unknown world, due to the lack of any real threats they have become the most popular and wide spread social club in the city. Each neighbourhood in the city has a gymnasium and each one provides a column of troops to the militia. While their quasi-military nature remains, the militia is mainly a group that organizes festivals and holds athletic and martial skill competitions.
Goal: promote fitness, have parties, and defend the city.

The Constabulary (ambiguous)
Human nature being what it is, even in the isolated and generally relaxed and safe environment of Shallavar there are the usual crimes. Convicted criminals are generally put to work on one of the farms.

Their goal is to increase food production; they are pushing to expand to the next block of uninhabited buildings as soon as possible.

The centre of medical education and practice as well as the home to the Church of Shallavar.

An order dedicated to preserving and developing scientific sorcery for the benefit of the city. They want an organized program of exploration to search for arcane resources.
Goal: Research the arcane, expanding and developing the capabilities of scientific sorcery for wider application for the city, and exploring the world to find more arcane resources.

The Miner’s and Metalworker’s Guild (ambiguous)
This guild controls all aspects of mining and production and actively supports the Laboratory’s push for exploration in hopes of finding new mines.
Goal: expand and develop metal working technology and discover new sources of utility and precious metals

The Red Vole Gang ambiguous)
The premier (and, to be honest, only) criminal organization in the city. In many ways it is more interested in pulling pranks and embarrassing the Directorate but they do support larcenous behaviour as well.
Goal: have fun, annoy the Directorate and Constabulary, steal shiny things, and get out of working during the harvest.

The Weaver’s Guild (heroic)
A guild dedicated to weaving, tailoring, sewing, and basketry. They are the mediators between other icons.
