A group of adventurers have agreed to sail to Al Qadim to seek a set of magical items for Haralt Obert. This task take may take some time. They are to gather in Waterdeep at the Fondled Ferret Inn and meet with their employer. Each member of the group will receive 250 gold coins and a potion of healing in advance and will be paid for each item found and collected. They are to sail to Hafayah, a city along the Northern coast of Al Qadim, and make contact with Muli ibn Nasir. He has been gathering information about the items and has assured Haralt that one item has been found already. A letter of introduction will be provided. This will be a D&D 5e campaign, characters will be created using the Adventurers League rules and all characters will immediately be promoted to level 2 for the start of the campaign. The characters will be from the Sword Coast and nearby regions. Al Qadim is ruled by a Calipha. Heavy armour in Zakhara: due to the extreme heat it is impractical or even dangerous to wear heavy armour during the day and that type of armour is very hard to find (any heavy armour is almost always an expensive import from the North).
